Collaborations & Brand Partnerships of Juliane Golbs

CulturalDialogues

When two identities merge, a third dimension emerges: resonance.

Partnerships

True excellence recognises its equal. Juliane Golbs believes in the power of synergy – the moment when the visual language of art meets a brand’s narrative.

We do not call this collaboration, but an Aesthetic Alliance.

The Canvas in the Sound

Elbjazz Festival 2026 · Joss Stone × Juliane Golbs

In the sold-out Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie, two languages met that need no translation: voice and colour. While Grammy winner Joss Stone filled the hall with her music, Juliane Golbs turned the sound into painting live on stage. Brushstroke by brushstroke, music, light and emotion became a large-format picture of the Elbphilharmonie – and a new one-off in her series Golden Things.

Both artists are ambassadors of the NCL Foundation. The work, in acrylic lacquers, acrylic, coloured pencil and gold cream, was auctioned in aid of the foundation, turning a fleeting musical moment into something lasting: art for research into childhood dementia.

“Music becomes visible. Painting becomes audible.”

The Emblem of Venice

Venice Design Week 2025 · WERNS × Juliane Golbs

In the historic church of San Leonardo, Juliane Golbs transformed a 3.5-metre white hare lamp sculpture by the design label WERNS in a live performance. The work became the official emblem and leitmotif of the entire festival – unprecedented recognition for a German artist.

The installation was accompanied by limited editions: a hand-painted hare lamp and a couture handbag by Thaden – the Italian luxury atelier known from “Emily in Paris”.

“A synergy of design and art: From Germany to Venice.”

Technology & Art

Hidden Garden

IFA Berlin 2025 · Roborock × Juliane Golbs

At the IFA trade fair in Berlin, Roborock presented an extraordinary art initiative: Juliane Golbs turned a robot vacuum into a canvas. Her work “Hidden Garden” transformed technology into a poetic statement.

A conceptual synthesis of everyday life, technology and artistic vision: state-of-the-art cleaning technology becomes a vehicle for fine art – a democratisation of the art object in the home.

The Wearable Canvas

Deauville 2023 · Maison Laurette × Juliane Golbs

On the Normandy coast, where the light inspired the Impressionists, two disciplines met: millinery and painting. Together with the French atelier Maison Laurette, Juliane Golbs transformed the classic straw hat into a one-off.

Surrounded by 350 classic Porsches, Golbs painted floral and abstract motifs on fine straw hats live before an audience – each one hand-painted, unrepeatable, unique and signed.

“It was never about fashion. It was about refining the moment.”

A Place of Living Art

Artist in residence · Louis C. Jacob 2025–2026

Some places are repositories of history. The Louis C. Jacob on the Elbchaussee is such an institution. On the legendary linden terrace – where Max Liebermann once stood before the Elbe – Golbs realises projects that bring art history and contemporary sensibility into productive dialogue.

As artist in residence she creates works that do not merely hang on the wall but become part of the guest experience. Art serves as an emotional anchor that lifts a stay from excellent to unforgettable.

A symbiosis of Hanseatic restraint and chromatic energy.

Limited Windspiel pistachio gin edition with label design by Juliane Golbs
Sensory Excellence

The Essence of Taste

Limited editions 2021 and 2024 · Windspiel Manufaktur

What does gold taste like? What does colour smell like? The collaboration with Windspiel Manufaktur joined the senses synaesthetically. In 2021 Juliane Golbs designed the dress of the bottle for a pistachio gin: an edition limited to 999 bottles that sold out within days.

Owing to great demand, the collaboration was renewed in 2024: a second, distinct pistachio gin with less alcohol, intended for summer, again with a label by the artist and lettering in gold hot-foil stamping.
