Juliane Golbs – a painter from Hamburg
Juliane Golbs is a contemporary artist based in Hamburg. Trained in philosophy, she moves between intellect and intuition and translates emotion into colour: abstract paintings in richly pigmented acrylics, 24-carat gold leaf and fine gold creams, built up layer by layer.
Her series – from Fifth Season and Heaven can’t wait to the Signature Collection and Golden Things – are created in her Hamburg studio, which opens by appointment only.
