Fifth Season #heaven can wait
On the tenderness of life and the decision to stay turned towards existence.

Origins
Heaven can’t wait continues the series Fifth Season and condenses it at the same time. The works are more complex and more layered, closer to drawing.
Leaps, lines, pencils and traces come more strongly to the fore – including those my daughter sets down herself. Each work grows out of the now, out of time lived, out of experience that cannot be measured.
The paintings hold countless shared moments. They bear witness to a present happiness that does not aim at redemption. Here, life shows itself as full and beautiful.
Heaven can wait.
